About Us John Craig started Limit Engineering in a garage on the coast of North Carolina in 1991. For over 30 years, John's been involved in the turbocharger industry in a variety of roles. Starting Limit Engineering gave him the opportunity to bring together those years of experience in a more direct way. Almost 20 years later, the business is going strong and has long since moved from its original location. In 1999, Limit Engineering relocated to Lake Havasu City - one of Arizona's best playgrounds for high performance. The business is family owned and operated and focuses on producing turbochargers for high-performance applications such as street performance, drag racing, and land speed racing.
