Ms. Lane has well over 15 years of experience in strategic training, education and consulting. As the Director of Learning Services at Knowledge Factor, she played a key role in the development of a new methodology and knowledge transfer for the innovative Confidence-Based Learning paradigm. She led the effort for conducting competitive analysis, managed the instructional design team, participated on sales calls and played a key role in marketing efforts. Ms. Lane has developed and led the development of soft-skills, hard-skills and leadership training for a variety of clients including Oceaneering, GE Energy, Gannett, Turner Constructions, Ernst & Young, Kraft Global, E.W. Scripps, IRS, AORN, KP360 and a variety of non-profit organizations. She has developed and successfully deployed over 400 hours of off-the-shelf and customized web-based and instructor-led training for clients on an array of topics including management skills, conflict resolution, quality improvement, finance, Sarbanes-Oxley, OSHA safety, GM leadership development, diversity and harassment, and HIPPA training, sales training, direct marketing efforts, employee retention and a variety of healthcare related topics.

She spent two years as an Adjunct Professor teaching core communication courses at the University of Colorado, Denver, Metropolitan State University, Arapahoe Community College and St. Cloud State University, Minnesota. During this time she was commissioned to develop an on-line version of the Interpersonal Communications course offered by several area colleges. She was also proprietor of a Diversity and Communications consultancy in which she worked with local Denver non-profit organizations including PeaceJam, an organization that give today's youth the opportunity to share their plans for bringing peace to their communities with Nobel Peace Laureates during weekend workshops. She facilitated workshops with the youth in non-violent communication and conflict resolution. Ms. Lane has a passion for finding innovative and creative solutions to meet client business needs and is constantly finding ways to develop high quality training solutions. In her spare time, she spends time with family, friends and her dog Sam. She also enjoys researching, creative writing, reading, painting, hiking and home improvements.
