Lincoln Elementary

Description

Student educational services are provided at three attendance centers all located within the city limits of Fredonia. Services for students from pre-school through 5th grade are provided at Lincoln Elementary School. Three sections are provided for each grade level with the exception of 4th th grade where there are two sections. In addition to the regular classroom curriculum, students have opportunities in both vocal and instrumental music, physical education, technology, media center and counseling.

The Nutrition Services department provides both breakfast and lunch to students in all three attendance centers. All food is prepared in the full service kitchen at the high school and is transported to the other buildings. The Nutrition Services Department also provides meals for various school related events throughout the school year. A summer breakfast and lunch program for all persons between the ages of 1 and 18 was established during the summer of 2012. Summer meals are served at no cost to anyone in the eligible age range.

The teaching and administrative staff of our school district are highly qualified and experienced. There is a strong commitment to provide for the educational needs of every student in our school. To this end the Professional Development Council is charged with the responsibility to provide quality, research based professional development opportunities for all professional staff members so that they can continually upgrade their skills to better take advantage of the most effective methods of meeting the needs of all students.
