Lindamood-Bell helps children and adults improve language processing — the foundation of all communication and learning. For over 25 years, our intensive, process-based instruction has been used in Lindamood-Bell Learning Centers to strengthen the sensory-cognitive functions needed for reading and comprehension, and has proven successful for individuals with learning challenges, including dyslexia , ADHD , CAPD , and ASD . In addition to our Learning Centers, Lindamood-Bell School Partnerships provide research-validated literacy solutions and professional development for teachers, schools, and districts, and are successful with turnaround/transformation and Race to the Top initiatives. With 50 Learning Centers in and beyond the United States, our continued growth includes research collaborations with MIT, UAB, Wake Forest, and Georgetown University, as well as recognition from the U.S. Department of Education, Newsweek, Time, US News and World Report, Neuron, NeuroImage, CNN, and PBS.

As an essential part of the instructional process, each learning ability evaluation includes a follow-up consultation in which we explain the results of the testing – not just the scores, but also what they mean. During the consultation, we provide students and/or their parents/guardians with an accurate picture of the individual’s strengths and weaknesses in language processing. We also provide recommendations for the type and duration of instruction that would be most beneficial for the student.

At our learning centers , we provide differentiated, one-to-one instruction in each of our reading, comprehension, and math programs. We know that every one of our students is an individual person with an individual style of learning. From the very beginning, Lindamood-Bell instruction focuses on finding the most effective ways to make each student comfortable, confident, and excited to learn. Unlike most math and reading tutoring programs, Lindamood-Bell instruction revolves around teaching the student rather than teaching the subject matter.

Lindamood-Bell is a premiere provider of professional development in the concepts and application of an RtI model, including diagnostic assessments, differentiated instruction, and progress monitoring. As part of our school partnerships , we provide regular accountability reports to school and district leadership, including measures of program implementation efficacy and student outcomes.

For over 25 years, our research-validated programs have improved reading, spelling, comprehension, and math for all ages of individuals. We have changed the lives of all ages of individuals with all types of prior diagnoses such as dyslexia and autism spectrum disorder.
