At Load Trail, we take pride in the rigorous manufacturing processes your trailer undergoes in order to receive the Load Trail logo and stamp of approval from a family owned business. Although we manufacture many different product lines, your trailer is subject to the same manufacturing concern and steps that were developed when the business was small and trailers were still being built by the current company owners.
Trailer production began with enclosed trailers, transport trailers and sport trailers. The staff consisted of only 31 employees and three Dodge duallies to deliver our entire product line. Today, Load Trail manufactures additional trailer models including goosenecks, car haulers, single axles, dumps, utilities, landscapes, pintle hooks, hydraulic doves and more and we have added a dedicated stacking bay for loading trailers on to drop decks with overhead crane systems.
Each trailer arrives on our yard as raw steel and components. We receive raw materials including steel and lumber by the truckload on a daily basis in an endless array of sizes. Trailer components also arrive in bulk daily. Using our advanced Enterprise Resource Planning system, we order only the materials needed in the short term based on the demand created by our sales orders and stocking orders. This not only reduces our inventory and overhead – a savings passed on to our customers – but also ensures unfinished material is quickly handled and stored out of the elements.
Load Trail began as a small family owned business in July of 1996. It consisted of a single 38,000 square foot manufacturing facility on a few acres. Today, in a few short years, we have grown to over 420,000 square feet between our manufacturing facilities and 80+ acres with 14+ mechanized production lines and a fully equipped in-house fabrication shop.
All of these processes and many more go into each and every Load Trail trailer. A rigorous process, executed by talented craftsmen, and monitored by a world class manufacturing system consistantly provides a trailer you can count on day after day.
