ADMIT that YOU are a sinner. A sinner is someone who has done wrong. Everyone has done things that are displeasing to a Holy God. In the Bible, the book of Romans it says "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God" (3:23) God tells us that no sin can enter heaven. Something must be done to get rid of your sin. Later in the Bible it says, "And there shall in no wise enter into it (heaven) any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie, but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life."
