Steve joined Texas Lone Star Lending in 2003 to manage the commercial financing division following 17 years in the computer software industry. Steve started his software career with Schlumberger in Austin. After 10 years, he launched his own company to develop do-it-yourself Web site software for small businesses. After suffering through the tech downturn, Steve joined a software start-up in Austin specializing in health care software.

Stacy has excelled in the mortgage and banking business for over 19 years. In her career she has viewed the mortgage industry from many sides, including as a bank branch manager, underwriter, investor, educator, and loan originator.

The industry is changing so quickly, and keeping up with the changes is critical to remaining successful. Our training program is dedicated to keeping you on top.

Texas Lone Star Lending has been an active force in the mortgage business since 1996. First licensed in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area, the company moved to the Austin area in 1998 and now is headquartered in Lakeway. The company's initial focus was residential lending due to the vast experience of its founding broker, Stacy Bray. In 2003, with the addition of her husband Steve, the company added a commercial financing division.
