Description

Nancy Rezac is the Executive Director for Visit Longmont, the tourist bureau for the City of Longmont. Nancy and her husband, Brian, moved to Longmont in 1990, when Nancy accepted the position as Marketing Director of Crossroads Mall in Boulder. She worked in the shopping center industry for over 25 years, holding a variety of management and marketing positions at Crossroads Mall, Twin Peaks Mall, and The Orchard Town Center. She has been with Visit Longmont since December 2013 and states “if I ever go looking for my heart’s desire again, I won’t look any further than my own back yard”.

The Longmont Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1966 as the Longmont Symphony Society, Inc. Its mission is to foster and promote the appreciation and understanding of symphonic music through performances and educational programs. Each year, the orchestra performs over 10 concerts, which are enjoyed by more than 15,000 people. Although the Longmont Symphony Orchesra primarily serves the citizens of the City of Longmont, its sphere of influence includes the entire St. Vrain Valley, including other communities in Boulder, Weld, Larimer, Broomfield and Adams Counties.

The Longmont Symphony Guild is a vibrant and enthusiastic group whose sole purpose is to support and promote the Longmont Symphony Orchestra. We strongly encourage both men and women to participate in our efforts. Founded in 1968, this year we celebrate 46 years of support for the LSO by contributing to its financial stability and by providing refreshments for orchestra rehearsals. The Guild is very proud to have donated over $70,000 to the orchestra over the past six years. To this end, we hold three major fundraisers.
