Investing in a Lowe's Extended Protection Plan means you'll receive peace of mind knowing your product is covered after a manufacturer's warranty expires. We'll make repairs on the covered product, including those made due to mechanical or electrical failure, at no additional cost to you.

Most traditional water heater manufacturers' warranties typically only cover parts and labor for the first year. After the first year most manufacturers will only cover parts, but not labor, for the duration of their warranty. Manufacturers' warranties for tankless water heaters typically do not cover any labor. Buying an EPP provides the customer with in-home labor for the remainder of the manufacturer's parts coverage along with power surge, reinstallation if the water heater is replaced and other benefits that you can read about here .
