George Lucas Jr., After earning an engineering degree , and military service, he began his investment career in 1960, joining his father George B. Lucas at Cooke & Lucas, which was founded in 1934. In 1967, after Cooke & Lucas sold its seat on the New York Stock Exchange, father and son joined the firm of Spencer Trask & Co. where George Lucas Jr. managed the New York City office specializing in institutional research and investment management. As Spencer Trask merged in steps into Shearson and finally became Smith Barney, Mr. Lucas was a Senior Vice President and a Senior Portfolio Manager.

Martin joined the Investment Manager in May 2006 prior to the successful launch of LEV II. He continues to provide technical and commercial oversight through due diligence and structuring on all investments and manages partner relations through asset divestiture. Mr. Holt is a member of the LEV Investment Committee. Mr. Holt began his career with River Gas Corporation, an exploration and production company with operations in Alabama, Utah and Wyoming.

The firm was founded in 1996 by George B. Lucas Jr. and his son, Russell Lucas and is a continuity of trust and service since 1934 through other businesses; as such, we have some clients dating back multiple generations. Today, the firm manages nearly $570 million across hedge funds, private equity funds and our wealth management business.

Danette has over 16 years of experience in financial services. She began her career with The Copeland Companies, a subsidiary of The Travelers' Companies working as a client service representative for 457b and 403b plans. She then worked as a registered sales associate for several Financial Consultants for Merrill Lynch. Just prior to joining Lucas Capital in 2005 she worked for Fox Asset Management, an Eaton Vance company, for nine years in the areas of Operations, Jr. Portfolio Manager and Marketing. Mrs.

Randy Allen co-founded the general partners of LEV I, LEV II and LEV III. He has experience as a roustabout, drilling and completion engineer, attorney, senior executive at an independent oil and gas company and asset manager of a family office.
