Lisa B. Lumbard has been an Arizona C.P.A. since 1992 and a Certified Government Financial Manager since 1996. She has been the Principal and Managing Member of Lumbard & Associates, P.L.L.C. since February of 1993. She is a member of the AICPA, Arizona Society of CPAs, Governmental Finance Officers Association, Arizona Finance Officers Association, Association of Government Accountants and active on the Annual Governmental Accounting, Not-for-Profit Accounting Conference Committees, in addition to several civic organizations. She has also presented seminars on Governmental Accounting, Not-for-Profit accounting, internal controls, fraud and the Single Audit requirements. Prior to starting her own practice, Ms. Lumbard served as an Audit Supervisor for a C.P.A. firm specializing in Not-for-Profits and Governmental agencies, and with a C.P.A. Firm as a staff accountant. She has over 35 years of accounting experience and has been involved in audits of not-for-profit and governmental entities since passage of the Single Audit Act in 1983. Lisa received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Arizona State University. NEIL BROADSTOCK, C.P.A., M.B.A. Neil Broadstock is the Firm ’s Audit Manager, and has been an Arizona C.P.A. since 1997 and was previously licensed in Illinois in 1995. He has been a member of the Lumbard & Associates audit team since April of 2006 starting as a Senior Auditor in charge of audits of not-for-profit organizations, charter schools, municipalities, SAS 70 audits for a service organization and compliance monitoring under contracts with the City of Phoenix. He is a member of the AICPA and the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants. Prior to joining Lumbard & Associates, Neil served as an Auditor and Tax Accountant for a regional C.P.A. firm that performed audits of not-for-profits, governments, as well as audits of for profit entities. He has also worked as a Senior Accountant and Accounting Manager in private industry. Neil received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Bradley University and a MBA from Arizona State University. JANETTE L. WALLIN, C.P.A. Janette L. Wallin has been an Arizona C.P.A. since November 2007 and brings to Lumbard & Associates almost five years of specialized governmental accounting experience gained with the City of Glendale, Arizona. She is experienced with the unique reporting requirements for governmental grants, preparation of the annual Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards, has assisted with preparation of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, which earned the G.F.O.A. Award of Excellence and preparation of the financial portion of the National Transit Data Base annual report. Since joining Lumbard & Associates, Janette has advanced to Auditor II and has worked on municipal and not-for-profit audits. She has also worked on for-profit compilation engagements, Janette has also taught classes at the Glendale Leadership Academy for Development and presented to the Rural Water Association on Single Audits. Prior to earning her C.P.A. license, Janette worked with clients for 14 years, assisting them with their accounting and financial matters.
