Building ideas since 1987 Lurk Custom Cabinets was built from the proverbial ground up—or in Mike and Mary Lurk’s case, their basement up! By day, company owner and master craftsman, Mike Lurk, led a carpenter framing crew in St. Louis, Missouri. By night, he would descend to his basement to build furniture as a creative outlet. As Ste. Genevieve locals caught wind of his skill, requests for furniture and cabinetry really started pouring in, until one day in 1987 he and wife, Mary, decided it was time to dedicate themselves full time to cabinet making. Since that humble beginning, Lurk Custom Cabinets has grown to be a 33,000 square foot, state-of-the-art manufacturing plant. Our mission isn’t to be the biggest manufacturer in the region, but the absolute finest. Our reputation for building exceptional cabinetry and giving you true personal attention is proven and simply speaks for itself.
