Description

The County of Lycoming's Landfill was designed as a regional solid waste disposal facility for Lycoming County and its five neighboring counties including Northumberland, Union, Snyder, Montour and Columbia. We are located 10 miles south of Williamsport along US Route 15 in Montgomery, Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection issued an operating permit in 1973 and the landfill began accepting waste in June 1978.
