Lynam Construction was started in Sumter, SC on April 1, 1990 by E.H. “Bill ” Lynam, III. With a degree from Clemson University, Bill based his success on the ideals of his mentors- Frank Rooney of Rooney Construction, Incorporated Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Ernest Brown of ECB Construction Sumter, SC; and Whit Wharton and Harold Boozer or Boozer & Wharton Construction of Sumter, SC. In 2003, Bill ’s son, E.H. “Zeke ” Lynam, IV graduated from Clemson University and became Project Manager and eventually Vice President of Lynam Construction, LLC. The family atmosphere is evident in all aspects of the day to day operations. Lynam Construction specializes in Commercial, Industrial, Schools, and Churches. We have been a certified Varco-Pruden Metal Building Contractor for 23 years, enabling us to design and engineer metal buildings from small commercial to large industrial projects. With 35 years experience, Lynam Construction is your one stop for design/build solution. There ’s no need to hire an Architect, Engineer and a Contractor. We can handle the entire project from concept to reality. We have built a reputation based on customer relations and respect. We work very closely with each customer to ensure a smooth process. Your vision is our goal. Mr. Lynam has managed Sumter, SC jobs such as St. James Lutheran Church, Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church Child Day Care Center, Kaydon Corporation, Jemison Demsey, and Hodge Warehouse. In addition to the Sumter jobs, he has also managed the SC Employment Security Commission Building in Columbia and a 20 story high rise condominium complex in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. As an active member in our local chamber of commerce and various civic organizations, we are inspired to make our community the best that it can be!
