The Mayville Parks and Recreation Department is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for the citizens of Mayville and the surrounding areas by providing for the recreational and facility needs of the community. The department will pursue this though a commitment to excellence, a clear sense of direction, effective leadership that guides a creative and competent work force, and a response to customer needs through trust and communication.

The Director of Utilities oversees and directs the activities of the Water and Wastewater Utilities, including personnel, customer relations, billing, operating budgets, capital improvement budgets, manages utilities construction projects, records and file maintenance, and daily operations of the utilities. In addition works with local, state, and federal officials to provide a safe clean water supply to our customers, and operates wastewater facilities to meet state and federal limits and beyond. The Director reports directly to the Mayville Water/Wastewater Utilities Commission.
