MC Lighting & Production Services has helped to shape the look of national and international documentaries, television series', local and national commercials, feature films, as well as a host of other motion picture and video projects. While most of our work is in film we are equally comfortable with blending the esthetics of film lighting with the engineering demands of the video format. MCL adds flexibility, quality, and security to your production by always providing well maintained equipment that is right for the job. From a creative standpoint, MCL offers an infinite number of looks and interpretations that can be tailored to your individual needs. We are a full service company; what that means, depends on your needs. For a local production company full service meant providing a specialized piece of equipment not normally found on a grip truck. For a Boston Director of Photography, full service was defined when we flew in his favorite diffusion material for the next day's shoot. For a Los Angeles producer, full service meant building an impromptu set piece from the materials found on our truck, and for yet another producer, several last minute crew referrals defined full service. For most of our clients, though, full service simply means our "Can do" attitude has taken us into an area not normally serviced by a lighting and grip company.
