Mechanical Professional Engineer German R. Chaikin founded MEP Engineering PC in 2004. MEP’s mission statement is simple “To provide quality and comprehensive design services for the building industry by exclusively focusing on the Mechanical and Electrical trade”. Even though MEP was established in the midst of a recession, it soon evolved into an established design firm in the industry. Today, MEP’s team consists of well-rounded design engineers and administrative professionals who dynamically come together to craft creative solutions for our clients.

MEP provides design services for the building sector by means of design drawings and specifications. By limiting our company services to mechanical and electrical infrastructure design, we are able to deliver a superior quality and comprehensive product to our clients. An inferior and ambiguous design in the building industry conveys into higher construction costs as a result of the building industry's inherent limitations.

Specifically, MEP offers consulting services and designs construction drawings of heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, electrical, plumbing, and fire-protection systems that make up the infrastructure of a building. Our client base consists of architectural firms and commercial property owners throughout New York State. The geographis areas that MEP servs consist of New York City, New York State, Bronk, Brooklyn Queens, Staten Island, and Long Island (Nassau and Suffolk).
