The Company: METALfx AKA Advanced Manufacturing and Development Incorporated was established in 1976 as a privately held company. In 1995 Avista Corporation of Spokane Washington acquired METALfx. There are two divisions at METALfx — Precision Sheet Metal and Wood Products Recognized Name: METALfx is a highly respected name in the custom sheet metal and contract manufacturing business. METALfx employs 150 employees that effortlessly handle low to high volume production quantities and offers a comprehensive range of services. Sheet Metal: METALfx provides custom precision sheet metal fabrication and electronic assembly in both hard and soft tooling and computerized equipment to produce electronics enclosures, chassis, frames, system assemblies for a broad range of industries including telecommunications, electronics, restaurant and food service, medical, scientific, aerospace, testing and to the commercial applications. These services include electromechanical assembly and testing providing our customers with a finished turnkey product. Business Description: These two divisions, along with extensive network of resources including Engineering, Materials Management, Quality Assurance, Shipping/Distribution and Sales/Customer Service, are all part an integrated organization that was created to meet the needs of our customers. Wood Products: The Wood Products Division works in conjunction with the Sheet Metal Division to provide customers with assembled and tested products. This division also designs and manufactures unique kiosks, arcade games and is a leading manufacturer of radiant floor heating. Stable Customer Base: METALfx customer base includes well recognize companies such as Agilent, Varian, Hewlett Packard, Dolby Sound, Warmboard and numerous other companies throughout the country.
