Macbeth Apartment Services is a fully-integrated apartment management company, dedicated to providing exceptional service and in-depth market knowledge to owners of apartment communities throughout Southern California. With more than two decades of experience in property management, renovation, financial oversight, information technology and marketing, the company has managed more than $2 billion in multifamily properties and nearly $200 million in renovation projects.

We have experience serving a variety of properties, that has resulted in an efficient and detailed compliance program, providing services to conventional, tax-credit and federally assisted properties. Our specialized knowledge and technical infrastructure provides personnel with the oversight and training necessary to develop an in-house LIHTC property management program. MAS assists in gathering the proper information and documentation prior to move in, resulting in less frustration for the onsite staff and better communication with applicants.

Macbeth Apartment Services is a privately owned, apartment management company originally formed in 1987. Charles Macbeth and Dirk Needham started MAS with a small portfolio of 113 units covering and specializing in San Diego County. The company soon moved its corporate office to Carlsbad, California and expanded into other Southern California counties to provide quality management services for owners referred by clients. By 1989, the MAS portfolio grew to 400 units, consisting primarily of smaller apartment buildings and single-family homes.
