Machinery Row rents hybrid bicycles by the day, week, or month. We rent Gary Fisher Zebrano hybrid bicycles in the following frame sizes: 15", 17.5", 20", and 22.5". Ladies’ bicycles are available in a 17" frame size. With adjustable stems, suspension forks and suspension seatposts, a comfortable fit and ride is easy. Helmets and cable locks are available at no extra charge. Machinery Row also offers Trek Madone road bicycles. This is a 2006 model year bicycle, and will be equipped with Shimano’s Ultegra 9-speed component group with triple cranksets. Most sizes for that model year are available, but please call for details to ensure we have your size. Mountain bikes: Machinery Row has Gary Fisher mountain bikes for rent as well. With an aluminum frame, suspension fork and 24-speed drivetrain, it is an excellent machine for the beginner mountain biker wanting to explore some of the region’s trails. We have sizes from 14", 16", 18" and 21". Trailers: We offer child pull-behind trailers as well. They have an 80lb. carrying capacity and have lap belts. We recommend the use of helmets, which will be supplied without additional rental cost. If you intend on using your own bicycle wit this trailer, please call us ahead of time to ensure the mounting point for the trailer will work properly and safely with your bike. Trail-a-bike: If your child is ready for a trail-a-bike, we have them as well. Rider weight limit for the 20" wheeled version is about 65lbs. Helmets are available and recommended. Please allow for an additional 10 minutes for our mechanics or staff to attach the mounting hardware to the seatpost of the bicycle that will pull the trail-a-bike. Remember, the mount will require about 3" of exposed seatpost, so make sure your bicycle’s fit will not be unsafe if we need to raise your seat for proper mounting. Amounts paid for one day (and only one) one the rental of a Trek Madone, trail-a-bike, or trailer can be applied towards the purchase of a new Madone road bicycle. Please save your receipt, as we have no easily accessible record of your rental, either digital or paper format unless you have us enter your complete in formation into our database. There will be a cleaning charge of up to $75 on any bicycle or trailer not returned in clean and serviceable condition. We cannot take reservations for bicycles unless it is for a group of 10 or more. One rental form will be needed for a large group with one person taking full responsibility for all rentals. All rental items and accessories require a paper credit card imprint slip as a security deposit. No exceptions! Your credit card number is not processed during your rental period, and your name, address and phone number will not be sold to a mailing list. Payment of rental fees is up-front, and our staff will be happy to assist you with the rental form. Deep-Section Carbon Race Wheels Machinery Row has a full range of options of deep-section carbon race wheels ready for you to rent for an upcoming race day. Perform your best on our Zipp 404, Bontrager Aeolus 5.0 or 6.5, or our clincher Flashpoint FP60s. We also offer a Powertap rear wheel setup to help you capture all of your vital training data. We have the full spectrum of lightweight, aerodynamic, high performance race wheels that will give you the advantage you’re looking for. Rental rates of $50/ day or $150/ week apply to purchase of a set of carbon wheels within 1 year. Powertap setups cost $25/day or $50/ week.
