In 1996, upon realizing she was living in Texas, Michelle Majewski made a beeline west: California. Unhappy with past lives at ad agencies, where her bosses kept her too far removed from the clients for her tastes, she struck out on her own and launched Mad Dog Design in late 1996. She spent the early days of the agency doing what it took to attract clients, and doing what she does best – working directly with them.
