This company is pleased to offer programs that provide financial assistance to eligible individuals. Lifeline Service is a program that makes telecommunications affordable for qualifying residential customers of Madison County Telephone Company by providing discounts. Discounts include waiving the monthly Federal Subscriber Line Charge of $6.50 and providing a monthly discount of $1.75 off the local service rate. Program is restricted to one line residential household occupied by the customer. To qualify for Lifeline, applicants must be participants in at least one of the following programs: -Temporary Assistance to Needy Families
