Description
Main Street Computers is a Main Street Communications, Incorporated business, personally serving the Midwest region and dedicated to serving the entire nation. Our services include in-house repair at our office located in Knox, Indiana; On-site repair at any location in the continental U.S.; Voice, Data, Security and Network installations for both residential and commercial customers as well as countless other services. If it involves computers of any kind, we are ready and willing to provide support in any way possible. Now that you've heard the generic "Who We Are" mantra, we'd like to go ahead and say a few choice words about ourselves that actually describes who we are as a business, who we are as people, and why we do what we do. Main Street Computers isn't just another computer retail store. We don't sell pre-packaged computers to everybody, telling them it's the best computer on the market and it's gonna do everything anyone could ever want this thing to do. We build, configure, and prepare custom computers to suit you. And we're not just saying that. We literally assemble these custom computers from individual parts, each hand-selected to suit your needs. We'll tell you exactly what's in this computer, and we'll tell you exactly what it's best uses are. In additional to building these custom computers, we also repair computers at our store in Knox, Indiana. When we say "repair," we mean it. Most companies that "repair" computers don't really repair software issues. If your Windows installation is corrupt, they'll try restoring it to a previous backup point. If that doesn't work, they might try a quick virus scan or something simple. But if neither of those work, they just take a restore CD, pop it in, and bring your computer back to its factory settings. That sounds good, right? It's not. If you had any important data that you didn't backup, it's gone. Any programs you don't have the CDs to anymore, gone. If you lost your serial numbers to any games you installed, they're gone too. Pictures, music... Basically anything you didn't backup, and the company doesn't save, is gone. We're different. We repair computers. We'll get down and dirty, find the files that don't want to play nice, and replace them, rewrite them, or flat-out remove them. If hardware's the issue, we'll find a replacement part for you, order it, and install it. The bottom line is: We won't lose your data, we won't let this problem get the best of us, and we'll do our best to not let your computer get this infection again. Whether by installing a free antivirus program, firewall, or registering you up with a year's subscription to the leading professional antivirus, we'll do our best to ensure that your computer is protected from any future infections, because, believe it or not, we don't want to see the same computer in our store time and time again. Main Street Computers is in business because, put simply, we love working with computers. We're technology savvy, and we're using our skills to help people the best we can. Any parts purchased through us come with free installation, and new parts we install come with a 30-day Main Street Computers warranty.
