Vice President & CFO Maine Course Hospitality Group Gary joined MCHG in 1994. Prior to joining MCHG, Gary spent ten years with Ground Round Restaurants, Incorporated, (GRRI) serving in various accounting and tax positions. As Vice President and Corporate Controller of GRRI, Gary raised $25 million as a key member of a task force that directed a successful IPO in 1991. Gary holds a BSBA in Accounting and a Master of Science in Taxation. He is a Certified Public Accountant and serves on the Boards of Finance Committees of the Ronald McDonald House of Portland, Maine, the Ground Round IOC and the Maine Merchants Association Workers' Compensation Trust. He assisted in the development of the Comfort Suites and became GM in 1999. In 2002, another hotel was added to his responsibilities and in 2004, three more. He was named Director of Hotel Operations in 2004 with responsibilities including site selection, hotel development & acquisition, and hotel operations & renovations. He has been an integral part of the acquisition & development of over $75 million in hotel projects for MCHG. In 2007, Sean was named Chief Operating Officer overseeing all aspects of operations for the Hotel & Restaurant divisions as well as the Development group. His career in the Hospitality business began in 1982. Sean has a BS in Education and is a former high school teacher. He has been on the boards of the Maine Innkeepers Association (Past President), Freeport Merchants Association (Past President), and Maine Tourism Association. Maine's Congressman selected Sean to represent Maine at the White House Conference on Tourism and the Innkeepers Association named him Innkeeper of the Year in 1995. Contact: sean@mchg.com
