In view of the nation's most magnificent mountain range, Daryl Milius wanted to create something equally grand in Colorado; after successfully serving as CEO of two Fortune 500 companies, he believed he was more than capable of doing just that. So in 1974 he founded Management Recruiters of Colorado Inc., part of the Management Recruiters International Companies- the largest executive recruitment organization in the world.The expansive power of the Management Recruiters network is due in part to the strength of firms like this one run by Mr. Milius, whose own unique perspective has enabled MRIC to bring creative and extraordinary solutions to client's organizations for nearly thirty years.Shortly after MRIC opened its doors, Mr. Milius was joined by his son Kent Milius, who was at the time one of the youngest brand managers in the United States. Following his tenure at Hartz Mountain Pet Products, where he was responsible for directing all marketing activities, Kent came on board at MRIC; he has now been with the company for 26 years and is currently the firm's CEO.
