The overall lighting is what people commonly think of when they consider lighting and is very important in a space. Task Lighting Task lighting is used in specific situations to accomplish a task. This includes designated lighting for particular situations where additional lighting may be required. Specific examples of this are reading and cooking. Accent Lighting Accent lighting is used to highlight specific points of interest. This can be anything from illuminating your favortie piece of art work to illuminating your coffered ceilings.
