MarkNetAlliance, Incorporated, a network of leading auction firms, announced at the 61stInternational Auctioneers Conference & Show that it had successfullyconducted the industry’s first online-only multi-parcel auctions. MarkNetleaders unveiled the groundbreaking software to conference attendees at the auctionindustry’s largest trade show in Greensboro, NC. Themulti-parcel method of selling raw land, building lots, condos or any assetselling in a combination format. It allows bidders to bid on individual tracts or a combination of tractsthroughout the auction. Since the inception of this method of selling multipletracts of real estate auction companies were forced to conduct the auctionslive and bidders were required to be present. Prior to MarkNet, no othercompany has been able to successfully develop and implement software thatallows auction firms to consolidate multiple bidding combinations and provideinterested buyers the ability to bid online. “Theaddition of online-only multi-parcel bidding to the arsenal of cutting edgetechnology provided by MarkNet allows us to not only take our company to a newlevel, but our buyers and sellers,” said J.J.
