Marketing Associates is pleased to announce successful completion of certification to the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems standards and processes. We had been ISO 9001-2000 certified since 2002; now, after a comprehensive internal evaluation process and a five-day external audit by NSF International (which, by the way, found zero nonconformities), we’ve received our ISO 9001:2008 accreditation.

Plus we like to think we're a pretty progressive and cool place to work — and so do others, as evidenced by the Detroit Regional Chamber recently honoring Marketing Associates with its 2009 Next Generation Innovation Workplace award.

IT in the D was founded in 2012 by the CIOs of Marketing Associates, Compuware Ventures, Quicken Loans, GalaxE.Solutions and Fathead to provide continued education and work experience for IT professionals and to support Detroit's growth as a technology hub. The training program is designed to help students transition between the classroom and workplace by offering mentorship and a chance to work on real-world IT projects. Marketing Associates contributes trainers and mentors to work with students using technologies such as .Net, Java, SQL Server, MY SQL, and PHP.

MA's very own CEO, Mark Petroff, was elected to the Automotive Hall of Fame Board of Directors. The Automotive Hall of Fame, located in Dearborn, MI, is dedicated to preserving and celebrating the history of automotive pioneers in all aspects of the worldwide automotive industry. People from all over the world visit the Automotive Hall of Fame to learn more about the innovators who put the world on wheels. Joining a slew of Detroit’s premier CEOs, presidents and VPs of Detroit’s top companies, Petroff is in good company.

Workrite Uniform Company and DuPont™ Nomex ® enlisted the help of MA’s Delaware division, Koncordia Group, to create a digital media campaign commemorating their 40-year partnership. Founded in 1973, Workrite partnered with DuPont to pioneer flame-resistant apparel in America. Today, Workrite is the leading provider of flame-resistant workwear worldwide. Koncordia Group’s campaign emphasizes the safety, durability and comfort of Workrite garments made from DuPont™ Nomex ® fiber.
