Founded in 1979 to provide young doctors with medical experience in the rural setting, the program has graduated 169 with many alumni practicing in rural Midwest locations.

Marquette General Heart & Vascular Institute was originally founded in 1977 as Cardiology Associates of the Upper Peninsula. Since that time, we have continued providing the highest quality of cardiovascular care to the people of the Upper Peninsula and surrounding areas. Our physicians are all board certified and many of them hold multiple board certifications.

Our VISION is to provide our students the highest quality education with the intent to provide accredited EMT personnel to the rural communities of the Upper Peninsula.

Marquette General Hospital's Education Department is dedicated to providing quality conferences that are both attractive and affordable to area professionals. It is our policy to offer quality education opportunities at the lowest cost possible. Our Conference Center offers a comfortable atmosphere, good food service, high tech audiovisual support and a convenient geographic location.
