Founded in 1975 by Marshall S. Miller, current Chairman and CEO, the Bluefield, VA, company’s roots are deeply entrenched in the coal mining industry of Appalachia. In the mid 1980’s the originally named Geological Consulting Services branched out its service offerings and was renamed Marshall Miller & Associates, Inc., to encompass the company’s diverse capabilities and reflect its vision for the future.For nearly 30 years Marshall Miller & Associates, Inc. (MM&A), has strived to be the best in its field, for both clients and employees.
