Dr. Ed Martin, a native to the area, graduated from Birch Run High School, and completed his undergraduate training at Saginaw Valley State University. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in September of 1988. Upon graduation, he opened his practice in Bridgeport. He won the Clinical Excellence Award in 2001 from Integrity Management, and is currently a senior consultant with Integrity Management, the worlds largest chiropractic consulting firm. Dr. Martin had a goal as a third grade boy to become a chiropractor. Now, he is enjoying the exciting reality of achieving that dream. Dr. Berger comes to Martin Chiropractic from Grove City, OH where he enjoyed many successful years in his own practice. He, along with his wife, Penny, and his daughter, Chelsea, relocated to the Saginaw area in 2005. Dr. Berger is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic. His undergraduate work was done at Columbus State and Ohio Dominican University. Dr. Berger comes from a family tradition of chiropractic. His grandfather was a leading chiropractor in the state of California. In Ohio, Dr. Berger was instrumental in establishing training and education for young doctors through the Ohio State Chiropractic Association. He is also a senior consultant with Integrity Management, an organization that helps chiropractors throughout the country to have successful practices and to insure their patients have the best care possible. Dr. Berger has a sincere desire to help the people of this area to see the benefits that chiropractic can bring to their health and lives. MEET THE STAFF Robert "Bob" is the practice representative for Martin Chiropractic, managing our marketing and promotions.He has a vast exeperience in radio advertising and worked for several years at an advertising agency. After a serious car accident involving his whole family, Bob turned to Martin Chiropractic for the long-term treatment of his injuries. He has never forgotten how Dr. Martin and Dr. Berger helped him get back to his active lifestyle. Now, Bob takes every opportunity to share his experience while in the field promoting Martin Chiropractic. Julie is the head of the insurance department at Martin Chiropractic. She graduated with a degree in Applied Science from Delta College in 1995. She worked at St. Mary’s Medical Center for seven years. From 2002-2005, she worked as apparent advocate for the State of Michigan. She spoke at conferences and sat on both state and county committees to aid and educate parents. In 1993, Julie received her Chiropractic Assistant (CA) certification and in 2005 she completed the Advanced Training for Chiropractic Assistants from Integrity Management. Linda is a Chiropractic Assistant (CA) and has been with Martin Chiropractic since 1989. She has an Associate Business Degree specializing as a legal Secretary. She worked for several years in the legal field before helping her husband start his business. She also received her Chiropractic Assistant certificate in 1996. She has attended 17 years of chiropractic seminars to help keep up-to-date with the new technology. Sarah has been with Martin Chiropractic since 2007.
