1936 - Martin Doors® was founded in 1936 in Santa Ana, California. The invention of the new Martin one-piece overhead type door soon began to replace the popular swinging doors of the day. Our market was the western United States.1977 - Developed the design and began to manufacture Martin Hi-Tensil™ steel sectional doors. All Martin Doors® are protected with many U.S. patents.1990's - Martin Door® Manufactures up to 400 doors per day, servicing hundreds of dealers in the western United States with tractor trailers via Martin Freighting. Doors are shipped to major distributors/dealers in over 39 countries of the world.
