Our technicians have over 40 years of combined experience in musical instrument repair and are professionally trained members of the National Association of Professional Band Instrument Repair Technicians (N.A.P.B.I.R.T.). Each technician is an active musician, furthering their understanding of a fully playable and functional sounding instrument. Every instrument brought in for repair is made sure to play at its maximum potential, being thoroughly play-tested before leaving our facility.

Matanuska Music was founded in 1999, by Hank and Ana Hartman. Since then we have become the Mat-Su's number one establishment for band and fretted instruments, repairs on instrument and audio equipment, and a full-line retail music store. We have a personal catalog with all of our available inventory with full descriptions for each item. Can't find what you need? Just ask! We can place a special order for you. We offer short-term rentals and rent-to-own programs for nearly every instrument we carry. Customer service continues to be our priority.
