MCHC has been a provider of comprehensive, accessible, affordable, and culturally appropriate community health care services for over 40 years to Mattapan and surrounding residents. Whether you are a long time resident of Mattapan or if you have just moved here; whatever your financial situation or state of current health, Mattapan Community Health Center is here to meet your health care needs. Our services include Adult Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, and Dental as well as onsite Mammography, Podiatry. We also have a brand new CVS Pharmacy.

Mattapan Community Health Center has been providing Community and Public Health Services to the Mattapan and Hyde Park communities for more than 40 years. We have a wide array of services that we provide. We are also now accepting new patients. Please call 617-296-0061 to schedule an appointment.

MCHC provides the highest quality of care to patients and our community by promoting long-term wellness. Our team of Adult Medicine Providers has clinical knowledge on dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. We offer Primary Care and Preventive Health Services for adults ages 17 and over. We strive to improve the health of the communities we serve by providing a broad array of health services. An experienced Adult Medicine Team member will get to know you and work with you to ensure your good health.

2. Contact our call center to discuss the availability of the provider you have chosen. Our call center staff will work with your schedule to try to get you with your provider of choice and an appointment that works with your schedule. We understand that in some cases our providers' schedules may not meet up with your schedule. In this case we can assist you with choosing another provider to best meet your needs. We will also direct you as to which provider should be listed as your Primary Care Provider (PCP) with your insurance company.

Established in 1972 as the Avenue Neighborhood Health Center; it was incorporated in 1974 with its current name. Mattapan Community Health Center was independently licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and still remains so today. Its Board members represent communities served by the Health Center. The Senior Executive Team and the MCHC staff are diverse, dedicated, experienced professionals.
