(IGFA Certified Captain) For the past 25 summers I have commercial, sport, or charter fished the East Cape and Islands out of Harwich Port, Ma. Prior to that I fished the offshore waters south of Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, Block Island, and Montauk out of Pt. Judith, R.I. I've been a lifelong resident of Rhode Island except for a tour of duty as a U.S. Army officer during the Vietnam period after graduation from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science degree. I am a certified U.S. Coast Guard Captain, a member of the Cape Cod Charter Boat Association, the IGFA, and Trout Unlimited.I have enjoyed fishing the offshore waters of Rhode Island and Cape Cod, Massachusetts for striped bass, bluefish, sharks, yellowfin and bluefin tuna for over 35 years. As both mate and angler, I have won and placed in the Block Island Billfish, Rhode Island Tuna, and Point Judith Masters Invitational Tuna tournaments.I'm easy-going and very flexible when it comes to your sport fishing adventures on the "Maverick".
