Dr Wilson offers full spectrum office based Family Practice medical care. Although, trained in obstetrics, Dr. Wilson does not actively practice obstetrics. For any medical issue requiring specialty care, Dr. Wilson will refer. However, Maxwell Medical Group's practice area is wide-ranging and we like to keep our patients in-house when possible. Dr. Wilson collects most medical specimens (blood draws, etc.) in office and couriers them to the lab, saving patients the inconvenience of personally going to the lab themselves. Dr. Wilson's practice is unique in that he actively combines Emergency Medicine (Emergency Physicians Professional Association) with Family Practice (Maxwell Medical Group). Practicing Emergency Medicine has sharpened Family Practice skills, and vice versa. How many doctors do you know who practice both? Additionally, Dr. Wilson calls upon his six years of locum tenens (traveling) experience in his day-to-day practice decisions.
