MAXX Properties is a 77 year old, family-managed and family-oriented company dedicated to providing our guests and residents with the highest level of service and professionalism. Founded in 1936 by Max Wiener and his son, Ralph, MAXX Properties prides itself in living up to the motto of managing the “Best Communities in the Neighborhood”. Under the leadership of Ralph’s son, Robert, MAXX Properties has since grown into a dynamic, financially sound, residential real estate organization doing business in seven states. Understanding and embodying our mission of “…providing quality apartment homes with exceptional service, offering meaningful career development in a family environment, and assuring long term growth and profitability” is the very foundation on which MAXX was built. As the company continues to grow, we maintain a strong focus on these priorities to guide our actions and decisions. With the fourth generation now at the helm, our commitment to family, excellence and our spirit of service make MAXX Properties one of the most distinguishable property management companies in the country.

Gerry is responsible for all strategic and managerial leadership for the operations of the company’s 50+ residential communities. Gerry has over 40 years of experience in multi-family management and has served as Senior Vice President of a publicly traded REIT. He received his Executive MBA from Loyola College, Maryland. He is a Real Estate Associate Broker, a Certified Property Manager and is on the Board of Directors of the National Multi-Housing Council. He has been with the company since 2006.

Maria has over 19 years of experience with MAXX Properties and is responsible for overseeing operations and capital improvement programs in Maryland and New York. Her leadership has been a vital part of the successful growth in those areas of our business. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Iona College and sits on the Board of Directors for several of our Cooperative Owner’s Corporations in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan and Westchester, NY.
