Description

With Windows XP Microsoft introduced side-by-side. The goal of this technology is to allow conflict-free concurrent execution of multiple programs using different, possibly conflicting, versions of the same COM components. COM registration is no longer necessary. All you need is a manifest - an XML file describing your COM components. The rest is done by the operating system. With Manifest Maker it is now possible to build manifests quickly and reliably.
