Founded in 1975 in Valdosta, Georgia, our firm has grown from a humble beginning to serve a variety of clients across the Southeast. R.R. McCall, Jr., the firm’s founder, set our standard for both exceptional client service and the cost-effective design across the life cycle of a building. In order to accommodate the growing demand for our services, both Mr. McCall’s sons, John M. “Mac” McCall and W. Russell McCall, joined the firm as principals.

McCall & Associates, Inc. worked with the Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC) on behalf of the Georgia School for the Deaf in Cave Spring, Georgia to provide design and construction administration services for the school’s new 16,390 sf gymnasium. The building is comprised of a high school regulation basketball court with four practice goals and retractable bleachers to accommodate 525 spectators.

McCall Architecture is helping create learning environments to meet the needs of secondary and post-secondary educational clients. Our educational work for colleges and universities, as well as local school boards, continues to exceed client expectations – coming in ahead of schedule and under budget.

McCall Architecture has extensive experience in planning, design and management for detention facilities throughout Georgia. We work routinely with not only cities and counties but also state agencies like the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice and Department of Corrections. By pairing our expertise in the design of jails and prisons with our in-depth knowledge of the workings of government, we can help counties plan facilities which are not only functional but that run with maximum staffing and operational efficiency.

McCall Architecture is managing the rehabilitation of the Pierce County NFC Building; this historic structure was first known as the Presbyterian Institute and then the original Blackshear High School. Our firm is serving as Managing Architect – not only providing design services but also project management and construction coordination for the project – which encompasses a total of three individual projects. It also includes the renovation of a gymnasium and the construction of a new public library.
