Arnold Shokouhi is an equity owner and the Managing Partner for McCathern. Arnold currently practices in the area of commercial, director and officer liability, and employment litigation. Arnold also heads McCathern's Banking and Mortgage section , and has extensive experience in the mortgage banking industry. His section handles everything from drafting mortgage documents to dealing with state and federal compliance matters for financial institutions and service providers.

During her almost three decades of legal practice, Ms. Braden has had significant experience in representing property owners, developers and subcontractors in construction and contract disputes, including real estate transactions. She has also had considerable experience in preparing and updating employee handbooks, manuals and practices on behalf of employers to avoid future employment litigation.

We are able to advise our clients on business structure, labor and employment, and employee benefit matters. Our attorneys have extensive experience in acquisitions and divestitures, including mergers, contracts, and leases. Working closely with accountants and other professional advisors, we offer clients the benefits of our experience with business entities of varying sizes, market segments, and stages of growth.

Kathleen Braden is Of Counsel to McCathern’s Los Angeles office. She recently joined McCathern through its merge with Braden, Hinchcliffe & Hawley, LLP. Ms. Braden has tried over thirty jury and bench trials, and her primary areas of practice are currently employment practices law, fair housing claims, personal injury defense, and construction defect litigation.
