Experience: Minimum of fifteen years of demonstrated management experience or project level management in major systems, including minimum of ten years of experience in senior positions closely related to the Defense acquisition process and demonstrated knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Department of Defense (DoD) regulations, including DFARS, requirements, policies, and procedures, and program acquisition life cycle process as addressed in DoDD 5000 series. Knowledgeable of overall organization, direction, and contract efforts, including cost and schedule estimating, systems disciplines, engineering specifications, and commercial practices relating to system procurement and production. Experienced in interfacing directly with government-designated representatives in conjunction with supervising of task order activities.

In the 1960s, McLaughlin Research continued to provide state-of-the-art technical support for military-industrial programs, such as the acquisition and fielding of the sea-based leg of the nation's strategic deterrence triad, the Polaris fleet ballistic missile system. Using early IBM mainframe computers, McLaughlin Research logisticians and configuration managers monitored complex manufacturing and shipping schedules to ensure on-time delivery of system components, earning the Navy's Polaris Team flag for the company.
