The McLeckie Group originated as an independent retail agency in 1977 and has since evolved into a highly specialized commercial wholesale brokerage. We are licensed in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma. Wisconsin, Illinois,New Mexico,Mississippi, Louisiana and Florida. Construction: We have markets available that will consider projects including major utility construction, tunnels, dams, renewable energy, etc. The market will also consider commercial construction, both on a "Wrap" or "Non Wrap Up" basis, including larger residential construction. Transportation Risk: The Lloyds market will consider the larger Trucking risks on an excess basis, usually excess of $ 1,000,000, both long and short haul. Product Liability: Our markets will consider the larger industrial/manufacturing risk, however usually on an excess basis, the attachment point dependant upon the size of the risk and type. We also have markets that will consider Chemical and Pharmaceutical exposures, again on an excess basis and usually on a "Claims Made" basis. Product Recall: We have several markets that write this class for food and beverage, consumer products and automotive components and parts. Complex Casualty Risks: Because of the nature or our markets and their ability to be flexible in the way that they view risk, we excel on th difficult to place casualty exposures. If there is a way to do it, we have underwriters and brokers who will usually find it.
