Further, we will be working with the US EPA’s Climate Leader Program to diligently strive to achieve the emissions reduction targets expected of transportation based organizations. At Mears Transportation, we continue to evaluate strategies to reduce our carbon footprint and adopt responsible sustainability practices.

Jon Mears has worked in the family business for more than 25 years, holding executive positions in reservations, dispatch, driver management and at the airport. He has contributed to the design and development of the sophisticated reservation and dispatch programs that help distinguish our services. Today, Jon is responsible for day-to-day operations of the taxi business, overseeing dispatch, reservations, driver relations and airport operations.

The Pikes Peak Shuttle Lot is the most economical and closest shuttle lot to Jeppesen Terminal. This lot is located less than three miles from Jeppesen Terminal. Free shuttles provide service from the shelters to the Jeppesen Terminal approximately every 10 minutes, 24 hours a day. Please allow an additional 30 minutes when choosing this parking option. Shuttles drop off on Level 6 of the Jeppesen Terminal on the east side.

We operate with approximately 700 metered taxicabs within our 3 brands; City Cab, Yellow Cab and Checker Cab. All taxis are dispatched and equipped with GPS technology to ensure a quick response.
