MTE was established in 1948 as a manufacturer of tools, dies, and metal stampings. The product line expanded in the mid '50s with the design and production of the Rapid-Air pneumatic feed. In the early '60s, MTE introduced its acclaimed line of hydraulic pumps. The company relocated to its present facility, shown above, in 1964.
