Our staff consists of Professional Engineers, Professional Land Surveyors, Field Survey Crews, Engineering Technicians, CADD Professionals and Clerical support staff, all members of a team dedicated to serving our clients efficiently.

Successful projects begin with accurate field information. Every Meckel project begins with a precise resolution of the property boundaries and accurate topographic information. Optical Total Stations and Real-Time Kinematic GPS equipment allows our crews to gather information accurately, quickly and efficiently. Our experienced staff uses state of the art equipment and software to provide a high quality product for our clients.

The office and field operations are interfaced with high resolution computers. Field survey crews are equipped with the latest versions of software running together with Sokkia total stations, data collectors and Trimble GPS 4700, 4800 and 5700 receivers. All of our equipment is compatible, state-of-the-art for rapid and accurate collection and transfer of field data to the office. Field data is electronically transferred, stored and backed up to the Wide Area Network (WAN) to provide instant and efficient access to all working on a project.

We take a long view recognizing that a public project may take one or two years from inception through construction and acceptance but will be in service for twenty years, fifty years, or even longer.
