Description
Med-Dyne was founded in Louisville, Kentucky on August 01, 1993 as Johnson Medical Specialties, Inc., by E. W. Johnson, Jr., the president of Med-Dyne. At that time, the company focused solely on the wholesaling of filters for concentrators. Within a few months of operation, the company was able to acquire the assets of Terra-Con, Inc., a Vermont company also supplying air filtration devices. Terra-Con operations were relocated to Louisville and operated under the name of Johnson Medical Specialties, Inc.
