Denise Brown is the Vice-President of MedAxiom Consulting. As a health care executive with over 25 years of experience in hospital system and private practice healthcare operations, operational efficiency, physician recruitment, business development, marketing, and facilities planning; she recently achieved her Green Belt in Lean Sigma from the Johns Hopkins, Center for Innovation in Quality Patient Care. Prior to her current position she was Chief Operating Officer at West Michigan Heart in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Teresa has worked in cardiology administration for over 22 years. Her diverse background includes experience in medical-office management, medical-transcription management, managed care, procedure coding and HR management. She has served as a branch manager of the Jacksonville Heart Center, where she supervised daily operations. She was also transcription-department manager and was responsible for daily operations of an EMR implementation. She also assisted in the merger of two cardiology practices.

Candice is an up-and-coming video producer with loads of experience and creativity. Candice received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in Telecommunications Production and graduated Summa Cum Laude. She has since taken her academic skills and put them toward video and television production. Since 2003. Candice has worked her way through the various disciplines within video and TV production with several TV stations, volunteer work and her own personal projects.

For over 14 years, Joel Sauer was Chief Executive Officer of a large Midwestern multi-specialty physician group. Through his leadership, the group expanded from a single specialty practice of 15, to over 225 physicians with over 600 employees in nearly every medical specialty. In 2009, Joel orchestrated the acquisition of his own group by a large health system and then acquiring other practices to create an accountable care network. Beyond engineering the transaction details, Joel provided the leadership behind the operational and cultural integration of the merged entities.
