Philip Libman, CEO - with 30 years of varied Information Technology experience, Philip brings expertise in Healthcare IT, general management and in particular, managing software teams. He was the VP, Marketing and Sales of Gartner Israel for the past 11 S years and has held technical and managerial positions in different areas of IT in Israeli and Canadian companies. He has extensive expertise in Healthcare IT and is a recognized speaker and presenter at conferences world-wide and esp. in the EMEA region. Email: philip.libman@medilogos.com Prof. Yuval Shahar, Founder and Chief Scientist - has been, for the past 20 years, engaged in intensive research of knowledge-based medical information systems at both Stanford University and Ben Gurion University, which is the basis of MediLogos' technology. He is the head of BGU's Medical Informatics Research Center and was the Chair of BGU's Information Systems Engineering Department for the last three years. In 1995, he won an NIH 5-year career award for his development of a new knowledge-based methodology for clinical-data analysis, and an award from the NSF for research on his new method for intelligent analysis of time-oriented databases. He holds a Ph.D. in Medical Information Sciences from Stanford University, a M.S. in Computer Science (A.I.) from Yale University, a M.Sc. in Mathematics & Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University, a M.D. in Medicine and a B.Sc. in Natural Sciences from the Hebrew University. In 2005, Prof. Shahar was elected as an International Fellow of the American College of Medical Informatics (ACMI). Among many other awards, Prof. Shahar's BGU Medical Informatics Research Center was elected by IBM Company for an IBM Shared University Research] [SUR] award as an international center of excellence in medical informatics; he also won an IBM faculty fellowship, and an HP Laboratories Innovation Research Program award.
