Our Story We belong in the history books. Our company has been around for 7 years to date. Charlie Deane and others founded the company with the idea of creating a media directory. We were incorporated in August 1998 and made a round of friends & family one year later.After that it was all hard work to get us here. In all these years we have seen all sorts of business models, of which the marketplace idea was the most flamboyant and short lived of all. We ourselves tried to be an exchange for some time and let go of that idea before we hit the ground.From there on we have been developing infrastructure and applications, taking a little of everything we learn along the way. It´s a big industry and learning the ropes takes time. We were always Web based: in fact we have always developed applications for ourselves or others that only use the Web at their foundation.
