What Information We Collect: "Nonpublic personal information" is information about you that we obtain in connection with providing a financial product or service. Such information includes for example, account balance, income, assets, insurance premiums, payment history and other information.

While many media reports about the debt collector industry focus on the amount of complaints sent to various organizations about some companies in it, new data suggests that on the whole, collections firms have a hand in resolving the vast majority of consumer complaints about them. Recent data from the Council of Better Business Bureau shows that in 2012, 86 percent of consumer complaints about the collections industry were resolved by companies within it, according to a report from Inside Accounts Receivable Management.
